Your Department of Education transcript indicates your category of graduation: Honours, Academic or General. The school uses these transcripts to determine your category of graduation, rather than school averages.

Dear Graduates and Families:
The Graduation Exercises of Gonzaga High School's Class of 2012 will take place on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Gonzaga High School. The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 P.M. We have enclosed two invitations for the Graduation event. Graduates do not require invitations.
Please complete the enclosed Registration & Information Sheet and return it immediately to the school with your fee. This is needed to prepare the Graduation Program and will be used for your personal introduction while you are on stage receiving your diploma. The deadline for submitting forms is Friday October 5th. After this date information concerning scholarships and bursaries will not be included in the Graduation Program due to printing deadlines and graduation gowns may not be available due to ordering deadlines.

Dress: Male graduates are to wear dress pants, shoes, shirt and tie. Female graduates are to wear dresses/skirts or dress pants and blouses.
Procedure: Graduates may pick up their caps and gowns on Thursday, October 18th or Friday, October 19th in the school office between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Graduates are asked to assemble in the School Library not later than 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, October 21th.
Reception: Light refreshments will be served in the cafeteria immediately following the ceremony. In the past we have requested that parents / guardians of the graduates supply sandwiches, cookies or drinks (water or juice, no pop) for the reception. To help defer increasing costs for the ceremony we would like to ask for volunteers to supply some of the refreshments. Please drop off your donations as you enter the school on Sunday. Students will be present to take your donation. If you are able to help kindly notify Doug LeDrew at of your intention. Please be aware that we have students with allergies to seafood and nuts including any products that may have contact with these items.
Confirmation: Although we expect all graduates to attend, we need your confirmation by returning the enclosed Registration & Information Sheet by Friday, September 28th.
Photos: A photo will be taken as each student receives their graduation certificate on stage. To order this photograph -enclose a cheque payable to Lifetouch for $20.00.
Cost: Because we have ordered caps and gowns from Winnipeg, we must charge a graduation fee of $45.00. This fee will cover the rental of the gown, stole, cap and other expenses. You may keep the cap, tassel (Class of 2012), and Gonzaga pin as mementos. You are requested to remit this fee with your Registration & Information Sheet. We are looking forward to celebrating this milestone in your life and sincerely hope that you will be able to attend. Make cheques payable to Gonzaga High School.
