Travel to Mongla Board the boat and cruise through the forest. Early in the morning at around 6 am board the vehicle from in front of your hotel and drive to Mawa Ghat. The journey will take little over an hour to Mawa before you take the Trawler to cross the river. Upon arrival on the other side of the river in 45 minutes, you will board the waiting vehicle there for your last leg of journey to Mongla Port. This journey shall take around two and half hours of time.
Upon arrival at Mongla Port, you will board the awaiting boat. The cruise to the Sundarbans Forest will start immediately after boarding. Lunch will be served. After cruising for rest of the day mostly inside the forest the boat shall arrive at a convenient place and anchor there for the night. 15 Oct 12
Explore the amazing biodiversity of Sundarban Shortly after sunrise we will invite you to explore the narrow creeks aboard a wooden rowboat, allowing a close look at the unique mangrove fauna & flora.
After a leisurely lunch the guide will offer a variety of activities, including an easy trek to the pristine beach facing the Bay of Bengal, a hike through the mangroves and an evening boat trip. Overnight on board in Kotka. 16 Oct 12
Return Journey Depending on the tide schedule, the boat will begin the return journey with the high tide and cruising the most of the day and disembark at Mongla in the afternoon after lunch. On the way you will enjoy the peaceful cruise through the creeks of the mangrove forest.
After disembarking at Mongla, visit Bagerhat and reach Khulna in the evening. Dinner on boat. Return journey by overnight bus back to Dhaka.

DOS AND DONTS FOR VISITORS IN THE SUNDARBAN RESERVE FOREST
1. Safety is important for you and your friends. Always ensure that armed forest guards and/or an experienced guide accompany you when getting on land in the Sundarban. Their knowledge and experience is essential for your protection.
2. Do not carry any kind of the following items: knife (of any size), fishing rod, guns (of all sorts) and specifically any sharp objects
3. Please walk quietly and in small groups in the forest, follow and respect the signs, remain in the areas of public access only and do not disturb the wildlife, ongoing research or the other visitors.
4. Respect the fragility of the forest. Do not cut, extract and damage the flora.
5. Dispose of waste properly or if no bins are available, bring it back with you. Do not leave or throw anything inside the forest, including cigarette butts.
